Raised by a pack of wolves in the wilderness is NOT how one would describe Ari. Rather he was born in Los Angeles, his mother from Buenos Aires and his Dad from the Bronx, NY.
Ari Schneider is an actor/writer/producer who has a (BA) Honors from The Guildford School of Acting in England and is a regular player at The Second City Theater in Los Angeles.
He created Clumsy Tiger Productions LLC, writing and starring in such features as: ELIJAH'S ASHES (Best Picture and Best Screenplay winner at The Los Angeles Film Festival Awards and Best Actor at the Los Angeles Actors Awards, Nice International Film Festival, etc) and the dark comedy HAWK & REV: VAMPIRE SLAYERS (soon to be released).
He most recently co-wrote the short film DREAM FLIGHT in which he stars alongside George Wendt (Cheers), Marguerite Moreau (Wet Hot American Summer) and Stephen Tobolowsky (Groundhog Day), as well as producing the short SAM DID IT, starring Alfred Molina.
He is also Vice President of the Non-Profit Zip Zap Zop Enrichment which provides improv and creative writing to kids with autism and school in an underserved communities, see link below, and also mentors with The Young Storytellers, helping kids write scripts that they can eventually see professional actors perform on stage.
A character actor, he fell in love with Shakespeare and the classics while studying in the UK. It’s been an interesting ride going from intense boot-camp type acting, to improv, to now producing and writing while still acting as much as possible.
He currently lives in West La, performing in THE REALLY AWESOME IMPROV SHOW at The Second City and hangs out with his cat Tinker and puppy Jett as much as possible.
